BIOGRAPHY
Dhani Harrison began his recording career finishing his father's posthumous album Brainwashed, which won a Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 2004. He went on to form the band thenewno2, whose Coachella set Spin magazine called one of the festival's best debut performances, and the group later played Lollapalooza three times. Harrison also reworked the Beatles' 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' into 'The Heart Gently Weeps' for Wu-Tang Clan's 8 Diagrams, and joined Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur in the trio Fistful of Mercy. His solo debut, In///Parallel (2017), earned a 74/100 on Metacritic for generally favorable reviews, and its 2023 follow-up, Innerstanding, featuring Graham Coxon, Mereki and Liela Moss, scored 71/100 for a similarly warm reception. Harrison has also composed for screen, scoring HBO's The Case Against Adnan Syed, the RZA film Cut Throat City and 2024's Futra Days, plus the theme for Netflix's Dogs.
