BIOGRAPHY
Nathan Jarvis, known as Jarv, was born in Windsor, Vermont on September 24, 1993, the youngest of three siblings. He began making music in 2009 and released his first official project, Jarvage Vol. 1, in 2016. By his mid-20s he had built a strong online following, with videos reaching six-figure view counts and roughly 40,000 fans on Facebook.
In 2014 Jarv submitted a verse to RA the Rugged Man's Definition of a Rap Flow Contest; though he didn't win, the clip kept circulating and eventually drew half a million views. That attention led RA to bring Jarv into his home studio in 2015 and invite him on tour, a partnership that has continued across three nationwide runs. Jarv has since appeared in the Grind Mode Cypher series and on the Eastern Standard compilation from Boston's Leedz Edutainment.

Jarv earned a reputation as, in one account, 'the most prominent MC in the state of Vermont,' pairing dense multi-syllable turbo raps with a storyteller's instinct drawn from the Fu-Schnickens' tongue-twisting acrobatics and the narrative styles of Slick Rick and Slug of Atmosphere. His breakout came almost by accident: a freestyle submitted to a rap contest didn't win but kept getting shared for years, eventually reaching RA the Rugged Man himself and turning into a genuine mentorship and touring partnership that has now spanned three nationwide runs.
