BIOGRAPHY
DJ Creole Princess (also known as Sun Saja) was born May 21st in Brooklyn, New York, and began DJing professionally at age 17. She built a scene presence through local radio shows and residencies, and founded The Rose Room, a creative collective offering monthly guest playlists, live music events and a web series during lockdown. She now lives in London, where she studies full time. Her move from DJ decks to production grew out of uploading mixes and original tracks to SoundCloud. She created the concepts #KissCore and #BITCHCORE, and blends trap, underground hip hop and lo-fi R&B with her own rapping and production. She has supported King Krule and Erykah Badu and appeared on Erykah Badu & The Alchemist's collaborative album 'Before The World Blows.'
