BIOGRAPHY
Glyders formed in Chicago in 2014 around guitarist/vocalist Joshua Condon and bassist/vocalist Eliza Weber, later solidifying as a trio with drummer Joe Seger by 2023. The band built its sound gradually through a 7" single, the 2016 cassette EP DIM, and 2017's Lend a Hand, which folded country elements into their minimalist psychedelic base.
Their debut full-length, Maria's Hunt, arrived in 2023, mixing stompy boogie rock with pedal-steel Americana and noisier experimental detours. After extensive US and European touring sharpened their chemistry as a trio, Glyders signed to Drag City for 2025's Forever, recorded in their own Chicago space and mixed outside the group.

Glyders draw on the dusty twang of southwestern roadhouse bands, the hypnotic repetition of Krautrock, and the experimental noise of Japanese acid-rock groups like Les Rallizes Denudes, filtering it all through minimalist psychedelia and boogie rock. Reviewers have described Forever as the band's most unified work yet, a lean, road-tested record that blends classic rock, jam-band looseness, and light psychedelic swing, with songs that shift gears mid-track in ways that feel effortless.
