BIOGRAPHY

Worries And Other Plants began in 2020 as a lo-fi living room project in Switzerland, led by Dionys 'Dio' Müller. It has since grown into a six-member band whose live sets, free of effect-chasing, have reached stages like the Montreux Jazz Festival. The project folds music together with photography, film, and graphics. The band's catalog spans the EP 'Pieces,' the album 'Dreams & Nightmares' (2021), 'Travel in Cycles' (2024), and 'Sweet Heart Sugar Love' (2026). The song 'Isernia' was featured as a Song of the Day on The Listening Post blog in 2024, and iMusician's artist spotlight described Dio's music as opening up 'vast sonic spaces, creating an outlet for reflection and possibility.'

WHY THEY'RE COOL

Worries And Other Plants turns a solo bedroom project into a full psych-rock ensemble without losing its warm, lo-fi core. Dio's sound opens up vast sonic spaces, as iMusician's artist spotlight put it, creating room for reflection as much as release. The EP 'Pieces' and the growing run of albums, from 'Dreams & Nightmares' through 'Travel in Cycles' to 'Sweet Heart Sugar Love,' show a band equally suited to a sunny park afternoon and a long road trip, and it carries that same unforced presence onto festival stages like Montreux Jazz Festival.
