BIOGRAPHY
Little Stranger is an American alternative hip hop duo formed in 2015, made up of Kevin and John Shields, who share a last name but no blood relation. They met in high school outside Philadelphia, seated together in biology class alphabetically, and later built the group after relocating to Charleston, South Carolina. A shared love of Gorillaz pointed them toward melodic hip-hop production paired with sung choruses and rap verses.
Since early singles like 'Queen of the Nile' and 'Me & You,' the duo has released EPs including Techniques (2017) and Styles & Dynamics (2018), plus the 2019 project Human Stranger. They've collaborated with Del the Funky Homosapien, Tropidelic, The Elovaters, Bumpin Uglies and Collie Buddz, and performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Hangout Fest, BottleRock and Levitate.
