BIOGRAPHY

Orange Drink is the solo project of Drew Prusko, a queer, first-generation Sri Lankan-American musician based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prusko describes himself as intergenerationally married and straight-edge, and has spoken about a life-long struggle with depression that informs his work. Over more than 15 years he has built a DIY universe of albums, zines, puppet shows, paintings, and videos under the Orange Drink name, with releases that move freely between folk, rap, punk, noise, and electronic dance music. His catalog includes the soundtrack to the documentary Double Fine PsychOdyssey, and he brings his recordings to the stage through an energetic, humor-driven live show. He also volunteers with Ladies Rock Milwaukee.
