BIOGRAPHY
Finn Swingley is a Chicago-based musician and songwriter who has been writing and recording since the early 1990s, moving between bands and solo work. His first official solo album arrived on CD in 1999, and he continued making home recordings on 4-track cassette and later in digital formats. The Wild Hunt, a 2020 digital release, was followed by his third official solo album, Pet Hates, in 2024, issued in a limited edition of 120 copies.
Pet Hates is a mellow, sometimes melancholy pop record built on layered vocal harmonies and careful arrangements, drawing on musical ideas spanning several decades.
